Grime II, the sequel to 2021’s Grime, is a dark and challenging metroidvania, and is releasing in just over a week on Tuesday, March 31st. With its eye-catching art direction and fast-paced, ability-based combat, Grime II is one we’ve had our eye on since the GSC existed! So we thought now was the right time to check out the achievement list for Grime II.

Developed by Clover Bite and published by Kwalee, you play as the Formless, an art mimic, capable of absorbing creatures and summoning them as Molds. Explore a rich world of various cultures and civilisations, while using everything in your arsenal and the environment around you to defeat dozens of creatively creepy foes.

The Grime II achievement/trophy list, which comes via the TrueAchievements website, consists of 40 achievements, adding up to that glorious 1000G. We will update this article with the trophy information as soon as it is available. A small number of achievements are secret, so we have taken the liberty of hiding them to avoid spoilers, but the curious are welcome to take a peek!

What will come as no surprise to fans of the first game, a third of the achievements for Grime II are for defeating many of the game’s bosses. The rest cover collecting and upgrading gear, leveling up, and unlocking new abilities by absorbing Molds from your enemies.

While most seem selfexplanatory, there are a couple of achievements that we aren’t quite sure what they are tied to. Most notably Seal Breaker and Hue, which involve removing all seals and acquiring a Chroma, respectively. We’ll just have to play Grime II when it releases to find out.

Grime II releases on March 31st across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. A demo for the game is available on PC via Steam.
