Pax East 2026 is less than a week away in Boston, MA and returning to the exhibitor lineup is Nintendo with a few notable games for attendees to dive into. The experiences do focus around Mario and Pokemon but for those who have not yet purchased a Switch 2, perhaps these will be the tipping point. Those at Pax East will have the opportunity to try out one previously released game, one that launches alongside the first day of Pax East, and one upcoming game for Pokemon fans. Even if you already own the console, there may be another giveaway you’re interested in.
Super Mario Bros.™ Wonder – Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park
Releasing on the first day of Pax is the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Super Mario Bros Wonder including Meetup in Bellabel Park. This version of Wonder was highlighted during a Nintendo Treehouse Live back in February showing off bits of gameplay. There are three new plazas to explore and additional solo and multiplayer challenges coming to the Switch 2 edition. Attendees will want to swing by booth 18019 to get your hands on trying out the Switch 2 edition.

Pokopia
It’s no secret that Pokopia has taken the world by storm. Play as a ditto who looks more human than ditto in a world where humans and Pokemon seem to have mostly disappeared. Find other Pokemon, restore the land, build your new home, and enjoy. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our review on Pokopia. Those who want to get their hands on a trial during the convention will want to stop by booth 18031.

Pokemon Champions
Upcoming Pokemon release Pokemon Champions will also be at Pax East. This game was announced during a Pokemon presents earlier this year. At this time it is due for a release later this year across Switch, Android, and iOS. Players will take part in online single and double battles and challenge trainers from around the world. These can be casual, ranked, or private battles and it will be compatible with Pokemon HOME. This means yes certain Pokemon partners can be brought over from previous games and even Pokemon Go. Pokemon Champions will also be waiting for attendees over at booth 18031.

One More Bonus
Attendees can check in at the Nintendo desk in the North Lobby and use their existing account to receive My Nintendo Platinum Points as well as a Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park acrylic character standee, while supplies last! Tickets to Pax East are still available if you find yourself in the Boston area March 26 – 29, 2026.
