The Triple-i Initiative returns this April with another show of back-to-back indie games from some of the gaming industry’s most promising and beloved developers.
The Triple-i Initiative started in 2024, with organizer Evil Empire announcing its collaboration with Ubisoft on The Rogue Prince of Persia as one of the headline reveals. Since its inception, the events have focused on no-nonsense, consecutive uninterrupted trailers, showcasing a broad range of titles from various developers and publishers, both recognizable and relatively unknown.
This year, the showcase returns for its third installment. The Triple-i Initiative for 2026 will air on April 9 at 9am PDT/12pm EDT/4pm BST. The show is also slated to last 45-minutes, featuring eight world premieres and a post-show focused on developer deep dives into revealed titles.
The trailer announcing the event confirms that titles such as Dead as Disco, Risk of Rain 2, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and Cairn will appear. The list of featured developers and publishers include 1000xRESIST’s sunset visitor, Devolver Digital, Slay the Princess developer Black Tabby Games, and many more.
The Triple-i Initiative will air on April 9.
