There is always more than one way to skin a cat in this game, more often than not, which means many ways to miss a trophy or achievement! Mastodon Trophy Guide
This trophy requires one team member to have all 7 favours at the same time. These favours are Toughness, Power, Intangibility, Rage, Immortality, Immunity, and Retaliation.
This task is much easier than it seems. Instead of worrying about action points or attempting to do this during battle, we’re going to make some potions!
Don’t rush, and wait until you reach Uxantis. You can get 6/7 in Uxantis’ alchemy shop through crafting or purchase. Buy one of each potion: Toughness, Power, Intangibility, Rage, Immortality, and Immunity from them.
However, this vendor is missing the Retaliation Favour. This can be acquired through skills. In this case, the upgraded version of Toughness in the Teer Fradee Bracelets skill tree will provide both Toughness & Retaliation. If not that, you can use any of your party members’ skills that may have Retaliation.
Save your game if you want to avoid wasting the potions prematurely, then just reload after.
Start by casting Toughness to an area (this is the upgraded version that also adds Retaliation), then pick a party member to consume all other 5 potions. (Power, Intangibility, Immortality, Immunity, and Rage). You can perform any number of combinations that will yield the same result, as long as it’s a skill that gives you Retaliation, as that’s the only potion you don’t have.
