Crimson Desert Gets Launch Trailer As Pearl Abyss Reveals Global Launch Times

Crimson Desert

The hype for Crimson Desert is at its apex as Pearl Abyss gets ready to release their long awaited massive new IP. With a week to go until release the studio has unveiled their launch trailer alongside the global release times as players get ready to jump into Pywel.

The trailer features some of the biggest and baddest things awaiting players in Pywel, from epic boss battles, some of the different combat styles the game will feature and of course some dragon riding. In a game so massive in scale dragon riding will be a must!

The hype for Crimson Desert has been something we don’t see in gaming very often. Crimson Desert is on par with the likes of Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2077 when it comes to pre-launch anticipation. So much so that Crimson Desert has surpassed 3 million wishlists on Steam alone.

There of course is still some concerns over the console performance. Earlier this week Pearl Abyss revealed the performance specs on consoles and while they looked impressive they are what they want to achieve, not necessarily what they will achieve. That said the studio seems very confident that the game will perform great on consoles so lets hope they are right.

Global Launch Times

On top of the launch trailer Pearl Abyss also revealed the global launch times for Crimson Desert. Pearl Abyss is going with a global launch at the exact same time which means no one will be traveling to Australia to get a head start on the game.

The release times for some of the major areas will be 6pm EST and 3pm PST in the Americas on March 19th. Because of this singular launch time, those in the UK can play from 10pm, whereas gamers in Western Europe will be able to start at 11pm. Those in Asia and Australia will actually see the game release March 20th in the early hours of the morning.

This type of launch schedule typically helps with things like spoilers as a staggered release can often cause. With a game as big and hyped as Crimson Desert is makes total sense why they are doing this, even if it means a later launch in some areas of the world.

The time is almost here Crimson Desert fans so clear your schedule, book some time off work and get those controllers ready!
