Those who have been waiting – the time is nigh! Yes, if you were a fan of Death Stranding but also a PC gamer, you obviously have been staring longingly at all the content regarding Death Stranding 2.
On March 19th, Death Stranding 2 will make its official debut to PC systems across the globe. And with a pending release…comes the inevitable spec details that we all want to know when it comes to game performance. Let’s dive into it and see whether our devices will catch fire running Death Stranding 2 at its optimal settings.

PC Spec Details
GPU Specs
The biggest piece we always want to know about – will my graphics card work? Well – at a minimum, you’ll need an NVidia GeForce GTX 1660/AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB to run at 30 FPS at 1080P. But – the recommended High Settings for Death Stranding 2 will require either a NVidia GeForce RTX 3070 or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 for 60 FPS at 1440P. If you’re looking to go all out for 60 FPS at 4K, the NVidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT will be needed.

CPU Specs
For the Recommended High Settings, PC gamers will need either an Intel Core I7-11700 or the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X. For the Very High Settings, both will work as well. But at a bare minimum for the game, you’ll need an Intel I3-10100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100.
Static Spec Needs
Fortunately, much of the remaining specs are consistent across the board, no matter the desired settings:
- RAM – 16GB
- OS – Windows 10/11, Version 1909 or Newer
- Storage – 150GB SSD
