Just two weeks after the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, which featured Orbitals, Pragmata and more, Nintendo are coming back with another livestream event tomorrow. This time, the roughly 80-minute steam will only feature Nintendo published titles for the Switch 2.
Pokémon Pokopia, the cosy Pokémon life-sim game that fans have been asking for, for years will feature. Launching next week on 5 March, Pokopia. The Treehouse: Live show will feature hands-on gameplay.
Later this week, the Pokémon Company will also deliver a separate livestream for the 30th anniversary of the legendary franchise, which will coincide with the release of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen which comes to Switch (and Switch 2 via backwards compatibility) on 27 February.
Also to be featured in the show will be Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which features new content, Bellabel Park. Bellabel Park is a new multiplayer-focused area within the Flower Kingdom. Also featured in the Switch 2 Edition of Wonder will be new playable characters including Mario Galaxy’s, Rosalina. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is one of the best ever 2D Mario games and I can’t wait to see what the new content will play like.

There is no mention yet of a fully Switch 2 developed Mario game, though many expect that will arrive this fall, during Switch 2’s second holiday season.
