Sometimes you need your friends and some games to cheer you up. That’s the case with Bonnie in Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime, an upcoming game release developed by Bonte Avond. Play as Bonnie and bond with friends while having a wonderful adventure as you play Frogtime. The majority of the story will revolve around the frog-hopping tactical battler Frogtime. As Bonnie, collect, buy, and trade frogs to build a deck, we mean roster, that is undefeatable.
Bonnie is about to go on an interesting adventure all brought in with lovely music from Bonte Avond. Unfamiliar with them? Bonte Avond is not only the game development duo, but also musicians and podcasters looking to improve acceptance and happiness in the world. With this in mind, it feels only right that Bonnie’s story will take Bonnie on an adventure of self-acceptance and joy. Of course, Bonnie won’t be going on this adventure alone.
For those of you who have already played the demo, you may already be familiar with some of the characters that round out the cast. Today, during the Convergence Showcase, many of the voice actors were revealed. If you caught the Secret Sauce Showcase last year, you most likely already saw the reveal of Ludwig Ahgren as one of the voice actors. It’s no secret that some of the GSC team are fans so we were well aware of this and mentioned on an episode of GSC’s Girl Pod. In fact, our reviews editor has already enjoyed a demo of this game at Gamescom. She has called this game “charming and wonderful.”
It’s clear Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime is a passion project. Based on the voice cast reveal, the VA’s have brought their passion to the characters as well. For those who are nor familiar with the content creator spaces, not to worry, many of these voice actors bring quite a repertoire with them.
LilyPichu for example, has voiced characters in Arcade Spirits, Pokemon Masters, and Genshin Impact along side many anime credits. Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun has been in Dead Take, Get to Work, and Omega Strikers.
This also isn’t the first time that Noah “Foolish” Brown has voiced in a game by Bonte Avond. You can find him in their previous release Once Upon A Jester. Bonte Avond also promises a number of surprisingly special guests, but we’ll have to wait to find out more.
