REANIMAL, the co-op horror puzzle platformer from Tarsier Studios, has its fair share of trophies/achievements to unlock, ranging from the challenging to the unsettling. With all the running, hiding, and trying to survive you’ll be doing, we thought we would lend a hand with some of them. So here is our Critter Kill Hit trophy/achievement guide for REANIMAL.

Critter Kill Hit Trophy Guide
The Critter Kill Hit trophy/achievement tasks you with killing five Critters, little scuttling creatures, that are hidden throughout the world of REANIMAL.
Each Critter is wearing a Mask for you to collect as part of the Beneath The Mask trophy/achievement. For more help with this, check out our Beneath The Mask Trophy Guide.
Chapter 2 – Cleaning House
The first Critter is found after you get the crowbar and exit the cinema.
As you run to the right to progress, you’ll see/hear something running away from you. Follow it down past the bus stop to find a boarded-up door.
Use the crowbar to unblock the door and go inside to find the Critter wearing the Cone Head.
Kill it with your crowbar and take your new headwear.
Chapter 3 – After The Flood
The next Critter is in this chapter, and you can find it after climbing up the cliff to reach the flowerfield on the way to the barn.
Run to the left-hand side of the field, and keep your eye out for a scarecrow in a small clearing.
Hit it, and the Critter will jump off wearing the Deer Head.
Kill it, and that makes two.
Chapter 4 – No Shelter
The third Critter is hidden in a secret room at the start of the orphanage.
After climbing through the clock face, drop down into the room full of petrified kids and run to the right-hand side to find a bookshelf. There is a gap in the bookshelf you can crawl through to find the hidden room.
As you walk into the secret room, the Critter, which is wearing the Bucket Head, will run into the first room.
Chase it down and kill it.
Chapter 6 – Nobody Left Behind
The fourth Critter is found near the start of the sixth chapter, when you reach the bunker with the console and binoculars.
Go through the door on the right and turn on the generator to power the bunker. Before going back in, push the crate off the edge.
Once you’ve called in the resupply for the artillery gun, leave the bunker through the crack behind the door, and climb back down the cliffs to the beach. Run to the left up the beach to find the Critter that was inside the crate.
Squash it like the others.
Chapter 8 – The Watcher
The last Critter is found in the eighth chapter, just after reaching the room with the four hung-up soldiers and the crate of guns.
After getting the key and going through the door on the right, interact with the appliance on the other side, freeing the Critter, which runs back into the room with the soldiers.
Follow it, and grab a gun to shoot it, as it is too quick to hit with your crowbar.
Once it’s dead, and if you have been following this guide, you will unlock the Critter Kill Hit trophy/achievement!
