A Proper Gander Trophy Guide

The A Proper Gander trophy/achievement tasks you with finding and tearing down all 20 propaganda posters put up throughout the game. You will also unlock REANIMAL concept art for every piece of propaganda you shred.

Here is a list of all 20 propaganda posters in the order you would find them in a single playthrough, grouped by chapter to help players go back and find the ones they missed using Chapter Select.

Chapter 1 – Dead In The Water

Poster 1/20

The first poster is just before you enter the mill with the train track and trolley.

It is on the wall on the right-hand side of the mill’s entrance, near where you unlock the Dark Tourism trophy/achievement.

Poster 2/20

This propaganda poster is found in the mill, through the door on the right-hand side of the courtyard. It is in the corner of the tiled room, between the sink and the locked door.

Poster 3/20

The next poster is found after you have been chased by Mr. Sniffer in his ice cream van, and your friend has been snatched. Go left past the road and through the bushes, and you’ll see the poster on the side of a caravan.

Chapter 2 – The Cleaning House

Poster 4/20

The first poster in this chapter is found inside the cinema you follow Mr. Sniffer into. As soon as you enter the building, hug the wall and move towards the camera to find it above a small table.

Poster 5/20

The fifth propaganda poster is found in the playground past Mr. Sniffer’s cleaning room. Once you go through the door with the bell, run all the way to the other side and look at the fence behind the slide.

Chapter 3 – After The Flood

Poster 6/20

This poster is found just before you get the harpoons. Once you have beached the boat, go to the left side of this area, do not climb up to progress. The poster is on the wall.

Poster 7/20

The next poster is near the pigsty. After your first trip through, you’ll fight some birds as you run left, then slide through a gap in a barn wall. The poster is on the barn wall, behind the tractor.

Poster 8/20

The eighth poster is found at the very end of this chapter, after you’ve been chased by the Pelican and reached the bus stop. Walk down the road to the right, and you’ll spot the poster on a telegraph.

Chapter 4 – No Shelter

Poster 9/20

Fortunately, this poster is found at the very beginning of this chapter. Once you are back in control, look for another telegraph pole near the low fence to retrieve the poster.

Poster 10/20

The tenth poster, and the halfway mark, is found soon after entering the orphanage through the clockface. On the right-hand side of the room full of petrified kids is a bookshelf with a hole in it that you can crawl through.

The poster is on the right wall of this secret room.

Poster 11/20

The next poster is found just after you flip the switch to light up the hallway in the orphanage. The poster is on the wall at the end of the narrow path between the bunkbeds where the Spider Kids ambush you.

Chapter 5 – Down In A Hole

Poster 12/20

This propaganda poster is found after the Mother chases you with her Spider Kids up the spiral staircase. Look for a wardrobe you can interact with on the right-hand side of the room, near the stairs.

Inside the wardrobe is a secret room with the poster in it.

Poster 13/20

The next poster is through a door in the shadows of a staircase, just before a Spider Kid jumps out of a wardrobe.

The door leads to a balcony with a flower on a chair. The poster is behind the chair.

Chapter 6 – Nobody Left Behind

Poster 14/20

This poster is earned by unlocking the Secret Bunker trophy/achievement and involves using a special code found in the first chapter on the console in the bunker. You can check out our Secret Bunker Trophy Guide, or just use the solution pictured below!

Once you input the secret code, the poster will be printed out by the nearby machine.

Poster 15/20

The fifteenth poster, which marks the home stretch, is found inside the battleship wreckage after using the artillery cannon to clear a path. Once you have climbed up the chain and dropped down into the battleship, you’ll see the poster on a buoy, hidden in the shadows.

Chapter 7 – The Spoils

Poster 16/20

This propaganda poster is at the very start of the seventh chapter. Just go through the gap and look at the left wall to spot it.

Poster 17/20

The next poster is found soon after you are chased by the Sheep through the trenches. After climbing down a ladder into a long corridor, run towards th camera and look for the poster on the left wall.

Chapter 8 – The Watcher

Poster 18/20

The first poster in chapter eight is found when the sniper starts shooting at you. After going up a flight of stairs, go through the door to your left.

On the back wall of this side room is the poster.

Poster 19/20

The next poster is found soon after the last one. Instead of climbing up the furnishings with the stairs blocking the sniper, walk around the back of this part to find the poster tucked away.

Poster 20/20

The twentieth, and last, propaganda poster is found after you have snuck past the Sheep whilst it is eating. In the room with the dead soldier, find and open the elevator doors with your crowbar.

Inside, on the back wall of the elevator shaft, is the final poster!

There we have it! All 20 propaganda posters in REANIMAL. If you have been following this guide, then you will unlock the A Proper Gander trophy/achievement. Congratulations!
