Crisol: Theater of Idols – Abyss Scales Puzzles Guide

Horror game Crisol: Theater of Idols has plenty of puzzles, typical of the survival horror genre. In Chapter 3, there are three sets of puzzles that require you to balance different weighted sea creature statues. Here is our Abyss Scales Puzzle Guide for Crisol: Theater of Idols, ensuring that you evenly distribute the weight and complete all of the puzzles.

The game doesn’t tell you the weight of each sea creature, and some scales don’t tell you the cumulative weight. The puzzles only permit you to move the top item’s weight from each plate, meaning you’ll be moving these around quite a bit. They’re not too difficult, but rest assured, below we’ll tell you the weights of each and show you the solutions for them.

In Chapter 3, you will come to The Tower of Judgement, an underground vertical structure that you work your way around using the interconnected caverns.

Late in the chapter, after solving The Sun Puzzles, you will re-enter the tower itself. Inside, on three different levels, are three separate scale puzzles. In the tower, you will see a note from Marea which says, “Every fallen soul shall be weighed upon the scales of the Abyss. And only those who find balance shall be deemed worthy of redemption.” Whilst this is your clue on how to solve the puzzles, when you see them, the logic is simple to understand.

Marea’s note

The weight of each sea creature is as follows: Eel – 1, Octopus – 2, Fish – 3, Crab – 5.

Abyss Scale 1

The first puzzle you will come to looks as follows. As you can see, there is no scale dial in the middle, and different weight distributions depending on the sea creature:

You will need to move the sea creature stones to these locations, weighing 4 each, to complete the puzzle:

The second puzzle applies the same logic; however, there is a new, different sea creature stone this time:

You will need to arrange the sea creature stones to these locations, weighing 7 each to complete the puzzle:
