A brand new Story trailer for 007: Last Light has just dropped at the latest PlayStation State of Play and it’s looking great!
The latest State of Play has just wrapped up, and the upcoming James Bond title had another showing. Showcasing the game’s ‘story trailer’ the State of Play gave us a deeper look at IO Interactive’s foray into the world of suave British espionage.
The trailer gave us a look at a young, reckless, charming James Bond and his initiation into the 00 programme. We also learn that a 00 agent is a possible antagonist in 009. He’ll do anything to evade capture, giving me strong Goldeneye vibes!

From everything we’ve seen of the game, it certainly looks like IO has a hit on its hands. Of course, we’ll need to wait to play it to know for sure, but it looks fantastic. Exotic locations, Bond girls, gadgets, vehicles, weapons, check, check, check, check, annnnnd check!
007: First Light will release on 27 May 2026 on PC, PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series.
