Cairn, a recently released mountain climbing simulator by The Game Bakers, may be a mostly solitary and gruelling experience. However, every budding pro-climber needs to have some training and knowledge if they hope to defeat Kami, something that no one has done before. Here is our The Ancient trophy guide for Cairn.

The Ancient Trophy Guide
Typically, you see a bridge, and you cross it. You see a mountain that needs climbing, you go up. However, don’t let this stop you from going off the beaten path and satiating your curiosity. Especially when The Game Bakers lets you climb wherever you dare and are often well rewarded for your efforts!
Once you get to this area, cross the bridge. However, instead of making an obvious decision of going up, challenge yourself, feed your curiosity, and make your way down instead. Because there’s something down there! I see another giant troglodyte statue!
This is the path I took, and while I was scoping out the route I wanted to take, I saw a backpack that I just had to loot!
After the arduous descent, your eyes will be rewarded with a huge area inside the mountain. In the middle of the area is a curious tree with many notes attached to it, filled with memories and hopes of previous inhabitants and climbers.
After visiting the tree, cross the windy bridge on the side with a crack in the wall. Once through, walk around until you see another little troglodyte holding your reward.
Once you’re done looking around (going down, under the windy bridge also has some goodies, so go check it out), it’s time to get back to task. Luckily, you don’t have to retrace your steps. Remember that room across the long bridge at the beginning of this guide? That’s where we’ll end up!
