Team Ninja has announced on their official ‘X’ account that a playable demo will be available on PlayStation 5 and Pc a week before the release of Nioh 3.

Demo save data can be carried over to the full game, so create your custom protagonist and face the challenges that await in a dark Warring States era Japan.

The exciting part about this is being able to bring our save file with us. So now I can spend hours painstakingly customising my character’s features, just to cover it with a helmet the second I begin.
Team Ninja is shaking things up with the 3rd installment of Nioh. A third-person action adventure where you battle supernatural beings as you ascend to the role of Shogun.
A new combat feature will allow you to switch between traditional rage-based combo attacks that fill an ‘Arts Proficiency’ bar to unleash devastating damage, and a faster, more evasion-focused playstyle that uses aerial and ranged attacks.
The new Ninja play style has also been granted the ability to use mist to confuse and distract enemies. While the Ninja and Samurai don’t share any equipment, you will be able to switch between them at will to achieve some spectacular annihilation.
I’m beyond hyped for Nioh 3, and will definitely be jumping into the demo the second it drops on the 29th of January.
With pre-orders of Nioh 3 available for PlayStation and Pc now, will you be playing the demo? Or waiting for the full release?
