February just got a little less crowded as today developer DigixArt has announced a delay for their narrative driven adventure game Tides of Tomorrow.

Tides of Tomorrow now launches on April 22, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

DigixArt says the delay is to help refine the game after feedback from players during a closed beta of the game, as well as feedback from the ongoing demo which players can find here.
The studio has been showcasing the game through a variety of character profiles on YouTube, and it certainly is looking good. The vibrant colours of the world make it pop visually.
What makes Tides of Tomorrow so interesting is how the adventure will be told. While a single player game, players will be able to see what others have done in the game in the form of visions.

Those visions will play out before your eyes as you see the choice they made. Will you follow in their footsteps or choose a different path? The choice will be yours, with one catch. While the NPC will be interacting with the player, they will remember what the player in the vision did which will change how they interact with you.
It is a very interesting way to tell a story and if done right could make Tides of Tomorrow a very special and unique title. Whether they can pull it off we will just have to wait and see, but my hopes are high.
Tides of Tomorrow launches April 22nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and Steam.
