PlayStation Plus January 2026 Catalog Updates

PlayStation has announced their catalog updates to their Plus Premium service in today’s a blog post and there are definitely a few to check out this month. Almost as if in time for the upcoming Resident Evil showcase, RE Village is one of six games joining the lineup. Horror lovers get a double dose with the addition of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead and roguelite fans see the addition of Darkest Dungeon II on PlayStation. Read below for more details on all of the upcoming additions to PlayStation Plus January 2026. Which of the below get you excited for January 20th?

Resident Evil Village – PS4 & PS5

The eighth major installment of the Resident Evil franchise arrives in time for gamers to play prior to Resident Evil Requiem’s release. RE: Village picks up with Ethan Winters a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Explore areas such as Castle Dimitrescu and enjoy some of the best action and horror available when RE: Village arrives on PlayStation Plus.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – PS4 & PS5

Spend your time with Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu in Honolulu City and Tokyo’s Kamurocho district in this entry into the Yakuza series. This 2024 entry into the series has these two dragons looking to find Kasuga’s birth mother for their own reasons. Of course, nothing is quite so simple and ultimately the two end up having to protect her other criminal organizations tangled up in even larger conspiracies. Enjoy all of the side quests, various activities, and the RPG style battles when this arrives on PlayStation Plus.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game – PS4 & PS5

Enjoy this vehicle simulation from Saber Interactive released in March 2024. The game has a large focus on exploration having players explore environments in Little Colorado, Arizona, and the Carpathian Mountains. For those who played previous entries in the Expeditions series, there are new tools to use and NPCs to aid you in your missions. Embrace your adventurous spirit when you get this one on PlayStation Plus.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead – PS5

Can you stay quiet when this arrives to your PlayStation 5 console? Set in the A Quiet Place universe, this spin off has you taking control of a young woman who must survive in the worst of times. Her inner fears and family conflicts all come into play when you’re in control. Observe your environment closely and use all the tools available to you, quietly of course, when A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead hits PlayStation Plus for PS5 users.

Darkest Dungeon II – PS4 & PS5

Roguelite and deck builder fans rejoice. The sequel to critically acclaimed Darkest Dungeon is making its way to the PlayStation Plus catalog. Choose your party, equip your stage coach, and explore the outside world as you try to stop the apocalypse. Your heroes are flawed and you can learn their backstories to unlock additional abilities and power them up. In Darkest Dungeon II be sure that you also are mindful of the relationships between your characters as they can help or hinder your run. Push your luck and your bonds when the carriage pulls up to PlayStation Plus this January.

The Exit 8 – PS4 & PS5

Liminal horror is back and The Exit 8 may have been the hidden gem all along. Inspired by Japanese underground passageways, try to find your way out of the metro pathways. Look around for even the smallest of anomalies to escape. Was that person always looking at you? Did they always have a suitcase in hand? Did that picture move? Even the smallest thing makes the difference if you’re going to make your way out.

Art of Rally – PS4 & PS5

Enjoy this stylized experience as you race across the world with a top down view in Art of Rally. There are daily and weekly challenges in addition to a career mode as you race across areas of the world. There are 91 stages to drive and you can enjoy vintage cars and challenge modes for the beginners all the way to the bravest of drivers. Enjoy the Art of Rally when it arrives later this month.

A Little to the Left – PS4 & PS5

For those who enjoy a bit of puzzles in their gameplay, enjoy A Little to the Left. With over 100 puzzles to explore and a cat that keeps things interesting there is much to enjoy about this one. There are also multiple solutions so you don’t have to feel stuck looking for just the one that feels right. Enjoy getting those neurons firing when you play A Little to the Left.

Ridge Racer – PS4 & PS5 (Premium Only)

Ridge Racer comes to those who subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium later this month. Originally released for PlayStation, Ridge Racer finds itself enhanced for the next generation. This includes up-rendering, quick save, and even some custom video filters to feel like a new experience. Enjoy the this high speed experience when it zooms onto your PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.


PlayStation blog also reminds subscribers that “PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe lineups may differ by region.
