Code Violet – Laser Trap Trophy Guide

Code Violet is a Dino Crisis-inspired, third-person, survival shooter released by developer TeamKill Media. It has a total of 30 trophies, many of which are missable.

The game only offers one save per playthrough and many points of no return once you complete the zones. Therefore, it’s important to keep track of which ones you still need before moving on, in order to not miss a collectible.

Here is our guide for the Laser Trap trophy for Code Violet.

Laser Trap Trophy Guide

The Laser Trap trophy asks you to kill a dinosaur with the Cinderline laser fence. A cinderline fence is one of those red laser barricades. The blue ones don’t hurt you if you touch them, but the red lasers will hurt.

This can be done in several places, and as early as the third area in the Communications Facility. There are many cinderline lasers just north of the Cinderline Power room.

This is also where I achieved this trophy. However, I do want to illustrate the process in a different area.

The 2nd place you can easily achieve this trophy is in the 5th area, the Disposal Facility, just north of the Morgue room.

I couldn’t tell if the SFX is from the dino getting hurt or from him really wanting to eat me.

While the red lasers will hurt you, the dinos don’t get hurt from touching them (based on the fact that there doesn’t seem to be any feedback from them when they do). Therefore, you just have to time it decently enough to catch them as they attempt to chase after you. Luckily, the dinosaurs have no AI to speak of, so you can easily draw them to you.
