Life is Strange, one of the most beloved narrative based game series in the modern era, looks like it will be seeing a new entry. According to the now removed PEGI website page, the new Life is Strange will be titled ‘Life is Strange: Reunion’.
Gamer Social Club writers had seen the listing before removal, though Gematsu were able to capture a screenshot ahead of the removal. According to the listing, there is a brief headline description of the take down:
“Chloe Price was Max Caulfield’s partner in time… Losing her is Max’s greatest regret. Now Chloe has come to Caledon University. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe needs Max’s help. But Max is already in crisis: in three days, a deadly inferno will destroy the campus.”.
Max Caulfied, lead protagonist of the original Life is Strange and the most recent entry, Double Exposure seems to be returning. She will seemingly be accompanied by Chloe who also featured in the original, alongside it’s standalone follow-on, Before the Storm as the lead.
A reunification of the two for a new Life is Strange will certainly excite fans of the franchise which is now led by developers, Deck Nine. Original Life is Strange developers, Don’t Nod are now working on other projects and new IP including Lost Records: Bloom and Rage which we enjoyed in our review of part 1, and part 2.
Though we will have to wait for official news from Square Enix and / or Deck Nine, it does seem that more Life is Strange is on the way.
