The New Game+ Showcase 2026 has just wrapped and we’ve got all the reveals in one handy summary article!
Started by Luke Stephens, Luality, Jake Lucky, IamRob, Blue Thunder, and HUN2R, the New Game+ Showcase aims to provide “value for an audience eager for genuine recommendations”.
The New Game + Showcase is a creator-led games showcase designed to “put authentic excitement back at the centre of game reveals”. Thier goal is to give developers and publishers a stage where their game isn’t competing for attention with dozens of sponsored slots, but instead stands out in front of communities that want to discover it.
It all sounds great, but did it pay off? With a three-and-a-half-hour showcase, with a lot of arguably unnecessary chatter, our summary might be the perfect place to save yourself some time!

Blind Desecnt (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Immerse yourself in a new Martian underground adventure with Blind Descent, an open-world survival craft game that unveils the mysteries of the Martian depths. Play solo or with friends as you search for the missing team. Adapt and mutate to survive in this bizarre alien world.
Deep Dish Dungeon (PC)
A survival exploration game where you navigate through a puzzly hand-crafted dungeon, with metroidvania and crafting elements. Unravel the enigmas of the dungeon’s depths solo or online co-op multiplayer.
The Blood of Dawnwalker (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world dark fantasy action RPG set in 14th-century Europe. You play as Coen, human by day and vampire by night, fighting to save your family in a story shaped by your actions and the secrets you uncover.

Prologue: Go Wayback! (PC)
Prologue: Go Wayback! is a single-player open-world emergent survival roguelike where every journey is unique. Traverse a new wilderness that is generated for you every time you play. Chart your path, overcome the elements, and write your own story of exploration.
It released on 20 November 2025.
Beautiful Light (PC)
Beautiful Light, a PvPvPvE tactical first-person extraction shooter where 6 squads of 3 operators are tasked with entering, securing, and extracting an artifact in a hostile, horrific environment. Face other operators and player-controlled anomalies, but beware: mistakes can risk your life and gear.
Project Shadowglass (PC)
A stealth-focused immersive sim set within a dark fantasy kingdom. Plan daring heists, infiltrate forbidden locales, and escape with priceless artifacts. Features revolutionary 3D pixel art graphics and lasting consequences where every action could leave a trail back to you.
Aphelion (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Hunted on a frozen planet, astronaut Ariane must brave rugged landscapes and shifting realities to rescue her wounded partner, Thomas. This action-packed sci-fi adventure blends exploration, traversal, and tense stealth gameplay.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn (PC)
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a third-person Action RPG set in The Expanse universe. You’re no hero — just a merc caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, trying to hold your crew together and keep the ship up and running. Your choices will shape your story.
Distant Shores: Bretagne (PC)
Explore the ruins of a former research site, devastated by climate collapse. Wield magnetic gauntlets to move, bend, or break metal as you recover lost BIO2 data and uncover your brother’s trail — all while evading the Cloud, a sentient weather entity that watches your every move.
Avowed (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Avowed is a first-person fantasy RPG set in the world of Eora, where your choices carve a path through war, intrigue, and ancient mysteries. Navigate a land in turmoil, forge powerful alliances or deadly rivalries, and wield magic and steel to shape the fate of the Living Lands—and your own destiny.
It has been confirmed that the game will release on PS5 on February 17, 2026 alongside a new game plus and photo mode.

Grounded 2 (PC, Xbox Series)
Shrunk again, but the world is much larger. In this open-world, single-player or co-op survival adventure, craft weapons and armor, build your base, and traverse the playground on your buggy. But something else is out there—and it hasn’t forgotten you.

Outward 2 (PC)

Forsaken Realms: Vahrin’s Call (PC and consoles)

Immortal: Gates of Pyre (PC)

Exekiller (PC)
ExeKiller is a retro futuristic western game with a storyline set in a post-apocalyptic alternate timeline. It is a first-person, action-adventure shooter with a character progression system and varied story choices.
Far Far West (PC)
Yee-haw, Cowboys! Team up in this chaotic 1-4 player co-op shooter. Journey to the Far Far West to blast monsters, sling spells, complete missions, and collect bounties. Work as a team to get in, get paid and get out (mostly) alive.
Erosion (PC)
Your daughter’s been kidnapped. Every death costs you a decade. Explore a roguelike open world where your actions reshape the timeline. Join a cult, steal a ride, gamble Cheddar. Collect 100+ weapons and abilities, demolish destructible voxel dungeons. Can you save her before time steals her away?

Duskfade (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Dinoblade (PC)

Crimson Desert (PC)
