Two Point Museum Collaborates With Revenge of the Savage Planet for Free Update

A good museum is constantly adding new exhibits to keep visitors coming back. Two Point Studio’s has clearly done its homework on that topic as it continually updates Two Point Museum and today the studio announced a new collaboration that no one would have seen coming with Revenge of the Savage Planet.

In this new, free update, players will have access to 6 new exhibits as well as many creatures from the indie Revenge of the Savage Planet. It’s a unique and unexpected update, though one that we at Gamer Social Club certainly welcome. Both Revenge of the Savage Planet and Two Point Museum released earlier this year and we enjoyed both. We gave Two Point Museum an 8.5 in our review while we gave Revenge of the Savage Planet an 8 in it’s review.

While at first glance this collaboration may seem like an odd one, with one game being a management simulator and the other a shooter, it does make quite a bit of sense now that we see it announced. The Savage Planet series does a great job with it’s creatures and fauna being a focal point and that fits perfectly with a museum game.

With today’s update players will be able to jump to 3 unique planets from the Revenge of the Savage Planet game and collect new exhibits to bring back to their museum. There will also be a new Staff room that will focus on “team bonding”. Today’s update also came with a host of improvements which you can see the full list here.

This collaboration comes ahead just after Two Point Museum’s received a major DLC update at the beginning of the month, Zooseum which saw many animals come to the game. Here’s hoping that DLC might be a hint at whats to come for the next game as Two Point Zoo sure sounds and seems like a great idea!

The Revenge of the Savage Planet update is available now for all platforms.

What’s Included in Two Point Museum – Revenge of the SavagePlanet:

  • Experts can explore the world of Revenge of the Savage Planet, visiting Stellaris Prime, Xephyr, and the Zenithian Rift
  • Collect six new exhibits, including Botany Exhibits as well as new Terrarium and Habitat creatures
  • Create a real sci-fi feel with new decorative items and a new vending machine
  • Get ready for interstellar travel with a new Staff Outfit and Staff Room items
  • Discover a brand-new set of Materials for creating items in the Workshop
