Adhoc has been having a fantastic end to 2025 and it appears they are planning to have a great 2026 as well. Dispatch, the debut title from Adhoc Studios, released in an episodic nature on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 earlier this year. Even with the episodic release, Dispatch managed to cross the 2 million copies mark. Interestingly enough this was a feat even Adhoc couldn’t have predicted. Their initial hopes were that they would cross this mark after two years. At the speed that Dispatch has blown up, it has had fans asking the question, will there be a season 2? While they didn’t quite have an answer for that, it was addressed that with the demand, the next step would be porting Dispatch to other consoles.
Today they announced they would be delivering on the discussion of porting to other consoles. Dispatch will arrive on Switch and Switch 2 January 28, 2026. There will also be an introductory sale on Dispatch for those who pre-order the game. Those who purchase up through to the release date will have a 10% discount on their purchase.

The next question becomes, what about those who game on Xbox? Unfortunately, there is no news on that just yet, but one can hope.
Dispatch arrived to rave reviews despite it’s episodic release schedule. While many may have been skeptical at first, the release schedule was something that worked. In fact as the weeks went on, even before the games full release, Dispatch hit a million copies sold. Perhaps it is the great voice acting cast including Aaron Paul, Matt Mercer, Laura Bailey and many others. Of course, it could be the fantastic story and universe being built. Either way, it appears that Dispatch has hit the mark for many players. Adhoc will have a lot to live up to with their next game.
