As Capcom continue to revive more and more of their dormant but beloved franchises, their attention has turned to the icon, Mega Man. At last weeks The Game Awards 2025, Capcom revealed a brand-new Mega Man titled Dual Override is in development and launching in 2027.
Keen to wet fan appetites ahead of the new release, the mega developer have confirmed that some of the older games in the franchise will be coming together in a yet another collection early next year. Launching on March 27 2026, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection brings together seven games and an array of additional features.
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will be releasing on all major platforms – Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Series X/S and PC (Steam).

- Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace
- Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker
Mega Man Star Force was originally released in 2006 and is a spin-off action RPG series. The Star Force games follow “the coming-of-age story of Geo Stelar and Omega-Xis as they face cosmic threats”. The Legacy Collection includes an art and music gallery and adds online play, though not cross-play. Quality of life improvements will also come with the re-releases included autosaving, speed boosts and HP recovery after battle.
