Welcome to our achievement / trophy guide for Terminator 2D: No Fate available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC. This guide will show you how to easily unlock the Kick in the Door! achievement / trophy for taking out 3 or more enemies with one door opening.
This is a spoiler-lite guide.
Kick in the Door! Achievement / Trophy Guide
Important: You cannot obtain this achievement on your first playthrough. To unlock this achievement / trophy, you must complete the game once on any difficulty, which will unlock you the game’s first ending – Spare Dyson.
After your first playthrough, restart Story Mode on any difficulty and play through the game until you complete the hospital level, playing as Sarah. After that you’ll come to a garage where you have to make a choice, ‘Can we reset the chip’, it doesn’t matter what you choose here. However, if you chose ‘Reset the chip’, then you will need to make a further specific choice.
When you come to this next section, if you had chose ‘Reset the chip, you will need to choose ‘Pull the trigger’, thus killing the man as Sarah (as below). If you’d not reset the chip, The Terminator will kill the man for you automatically:
These choices will now bring you to mission 9, Police Station. You will not have played this mission on your first playthrough. Continue down a few flights of stairs until you reach this door with two people behind – but be careful, you will get regularly flanked from behind whilst you’re waiting:
Keep waiting by the door until another enemy comes along, they’ll come intermittently and move quickly so be ready:
When there’s three together, kick open the door and they’ll domino into one another taking out all three:
If you don’t get all three, try to get killed to restart from the previous checkpoint to avoid having to replay through to this mission.
