Terminator 2D: No Fate – 100 Chain and The Terminator Achievement Guide

Welcome to our achievement / trophy guide for Terminator 2D: No Fate available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC. This guide will show you how to easily unlock the 100 Chain achievement / trophy and the Terminator achievement / trophy for taking out 100 enemies without being hit.

100 Chain & Terminator Achievements / Trophies Guide

The easiest way to unlock this achievement / trophy is to unlock the Infinite Mode, which is an endless gauntlet of enemies. It is possible to try the 100 Chain achievement during a normal playthrough, but save yourself the headache and wait till you have unlocked Infinite Mode.

In Infinite Mode, you can play as either John, Sarah or The Terminator. You want to play as The Terminator on easy difficulty.

You will move continually right for the whole time taking on a never-ending barrage of enemies who will come at you from all directions. Most will come from the right but some will come at you from the left and there will be some enemies above and below.

By playing as The Terminator, you can hold down fire on your minigun from the moment you start. You’ll be firing so many bullets that enemies to the right will never fully hit the playspace. Enemies on the left will die immediately when you turn to fire too.

The only enemies you need to make special adjustments for are the turrets on the ceiling, which you can easily take out by aiming diagonal right / up without stopping your movement. Then there are some small robot enemies which come up to your feet, for these you will have to stop and aim diagonal down / right.

You will churn through enough enemies in about 4-5 minutes to get the 100. If you get hit, restart as later in Infinite Mode the enemy difficulty increases and you’ll struggle to get 100 without being hit, even on easy.

Once you have hit 100 without being hit, be sure to continue the Infinite Mode run to also unlock the Terminator achievement / trophy. After hitting 100 hundred kills, you’ll have the 250 required in about five more minutes.

And with that, you will unlock the 100 Chain & Terminator achievements / trophies. Congratulations! There are plenty more easy achievements in the game, see below for links to more guides.
