With The Game Awards dropping soon, a whole host of showcases are dropping alongside it. It’s an exciting week for reveals, trailers, new releases and, of course, “world premieres”.

Next is the Day of the Devs, celebrating all things indie with Double Fine’s Tim Schafer, so let’s not waste any time and get to the reveals! Oh, and check out the full show if you want to watch the whole thing below, or skip ahead to each reveal, with trailer!


Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Edition 2025 – 10 December 2025

Where possible, we’ve included all announced platforms, trailers (where available), and information on demo availability and release dates.

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School (PC)

Class is (back) in session with Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School! Play in solo or co-op and explore an all-new campus, escape life-threatening puzzle rooms, and unravel a conspiracy as old as the school itself — all before the bell rings.

A demo is now available.

Sleep Awake (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

A look into the creation of the soundtrack for the recently released game.

Awaysis (PC)

The ultimate dungeon brawler. A revolutionary, physics-fueled throwdown where you’ll jump, slide, and collide on your adventure to restore peace to the Awaysis – an ancient floating relic under attack by forces of great darkness!

A look at the game was shown in an interview with one of the devs (not in the video below).

Lucid Falls (PC)

Trapped inside a lucid dream, the protagonist must fight to survive in surreal, horrifying worlds, uncovering the dark secrets of Lucid Falls. Facing terrifying creatures, shifting gravity to navigate impossible spaces, and solving challenges that bend reality, every moment reveals more of the dark truth behind Lucid Falls

Rock Beasts (PC, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series)

A rock-and-roll management RPG where you guide a 90s grunge band from garage obscurity to stadium glory. Set up gigs, manage egos, and navigate the music industry in an alternative America inhabited by larger-than-life anthropomorphic characters. Make it big without selling out.

Stretchmancer (PC)

STRETCH THE WORLD! In this comedic first-person puzzle adventure, you are The Stretchmancer. Squash and stretch everything around you to solve fiendish puzzles, defeat the Claustro Empire, and save the galaxy!

Virtue and a Sledgehammer (PC)

Most people resort to therapy. But you chose the brave option. A sledgehammer. Go back to your hometown and tear it down with a sledgehammer in this narrative exploration game from developers Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour. Confront your past in a devastating story about feeling like you no longer belong in the place you grew up.

Beastro (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Welcome to Beastro! In this charming fusion of fantasy adventure, not all heroes wield swords… Some prefer the spoon. And, sometimes to save the world you’ve got to start with a really good meal.

A Steam demo is available now. It will also be released day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

UN:Me (PC)

UN:Me is an adventure game where you guide a girl harboring multiple souls within her body through an unsettling mental labyrinth, engaging in dialogue with each soul while making the harrowing choice of which to keep and which to erase in your escape attempt.

Soundgrass (PC)

You find yourself on a planet where plants emit sound. Sound and music are also your main gameplay mechanic. Experience the world of sound as never done before.

The Dungeon Experience (PC)

The Dungeon Experience is a comedy first-person adventure about a low-level mudcrab chasing his dream of helping YOU experience the true bliss of Financial Freedom*

Scramble Knights Royale (PC, Xbox Series)

Compete against fellow knights in a 32-player classic-adventure battle royale. Be the last knight standing and win the favor of the princess!

Mirria (PC)

Mirria is an upcoming atmospheric casual puzzle game where players navigate a strange cryptic world that blurs the line between dream and reality. Using inspection and memory, uncover hidden anomalies between mirrored worlds.

Big Hops (PC, PS5, Switch)

Tongue-swing, free climb, and build your own path forward in a new kind of 3D platformer! Plant veggie bounce pads, tightropes, hookshots, and much more. Find a way home through huge Desert, Ocean, and Mountain worlds and collect bugs, upgrade your backpack, and meet animal friends along the way.

It releases on 12 January 2026. A demo is available now.

Corgi Space (PC)

CorgiSpace is a collection of 8-bit games that have short legs on purpose. This anthology includes more than a dozen action, adventure, arcade, and puzzle games, and each can be thoroughly explored in under an hour.

It’s available now.

Into the Fire (PC)

Fight the wrath of nature and the spirits of fire in the shadow of an erupting volcano. Use extinguishing weapons and retro-punk inventions. Expand your base and collect relics amid the chaos of disaster. Discover mystical legends, rituals, and unexplained phenomena. Rescue people and animals in a cataclysm extraction survival adventure.

Dogpile (PC)

Dogpile is a roguelike deck builder about merging cute dogs into bigger dogs. Play dogs, get money, customize your dogs with special Traits, refine your deck, PLAY MORE DOGS! DOGS!

Unshine Arcade (PC)

An arcade full of secrets, a sentient virtual pet in the prize cabinet, a stealth shooter roguelite arcade machine and one way to escape: win tickets.

Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth (PC)

Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth is a story-driven, cozy puzzle adventure game where you play as Moomintroll. Wander through a snow-covered Moominvalley, and embark on a whimsical a journey into the unknown on your quest for warmth and friendship.

Demon Tides (PC)

Explore the open seas and uncover the kingdom’s dark secrets as you expressively platform your way across dozens of locales, upgrading your gear every step of the way!

It releases on 19 February 2026. A demo is available now.

Frog Sqwad (PC)

Storm The Sewers for the glory of the Swamp King! Swing, jump, catapult your friends, and eat eat EAT until you grow into a humongous Megafrog. A co-op extraction puzzle-platformer for up to 8 players. Squad up with your frog friends for a friendslop party in this slapstick physics adventure!

Astromine (PC)

Astromine is a co-op survival game about scavenging fully destructible voxel planets. Land on planets and gather enough materials to fight off alien creatures, build structures and spaceships, and conquer the solar system

Find Your Words (PC)

Find your community at summer camp, one friendship at a time. Take a beat, enjoy a breath of fresh air – all while playing at the beach, strolling in the woods, and dancing with friends.

Xcavator 2025 (NES)

A lost piece of gaming history, rediscovered. In 1991, the late, legendary programmer Chris Oberth designed Xcavator for the NES. It was shopped to publishers across the country but never found a home. The original source code sat with Chris’ family for decades until @GameHistoryOrg discovered it and brought it back to life with the help of MegaCatStudios. Now, you can own a piece of history. 100% of profits from purchases of Xcavator 2025 support the Video Game History Foundation’s preservation work, to help more projects like this see the light of day.

People of Note (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

In this turn-based RPG musical, join Cadence as she recruits an ensemble of musicians on her quest for stardom. Experience turn-based combat like never before, where each battle is a musical performance with evolving combat conditions and genre-bending mashup attacks!
