Mirria is a Mirror World Puzzle Game To Watch

At today’s Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Edition showcase, we were introduced to new atmospheric puzzler, Mirria. Hand crafted by New York Times featured artist Carl Burton, Mirria has a stunning unique art style that is equal parts intriguing and haunting.

In a world that blurs the line between dream and reality, Mirria is a symmetrical puzzle game where players will look for anomalies between mirrored worlds such as houses, towns or roads. The game will “reimagine the simplicity of spot the difference games with mysterious hand crafted environments” with replayable areas that offer unique solutions at every attempt. Each area has a stunning unique colour palette, making use of the unique art style of Mirria.

Each biome in the game will tell a unique self-contained story. The game will also have a dynamic atmospheric soundtrack that modulates sounds in real time, which will create a procedural soundscape. Watching the reveal trailer you can hear how the ambient creepiness of the soundtrack will add to the game’s eerie undertone.

Mirria will launch in 2026 on Steam, a console launch may follow. Players can wishlist on both platforms now. Players can also get immediate access to the playtest via Steam now.
