Industry veteran Katsuhiro Harada had recently announced on his X account that he will be leaving Bandai Namco at the end of 2025, alongside the 30th anniversary of the Tekken franchise.
Katsuhiro shares information and pride about his departure from his post, reflecting on all that he has accomplished, and what time he has left as a creator.


Katsuhiro started off in the Tekken franchise back in 1994, appearing as the voice for several notable characters, such as Marshall Law and Yoshimitsu. He reprises those roles until Tekken 4, where he continues as Marshall Law and takes on the duties of Director for Tekken 4 and 5. From Tekken 6 onwards, Katsuhiro becomes the executive producer of the franchise, as well as using his skills in the fighting games genre to co-direct Soulcalibur IV.
Katsuhiro has also used his skills to help with the releases of many fantastic games, such a being the marketing general manager of Dark Souls III and Dark Souls Remastered, as well as becoming a general producer for Code Vein and Tales of Arise.

Katsuhiro ends his farewell post by stating he has released a “Tekken DJ-style nonstop mix” on his SoundCloud, as he had always had an interest in DJing, and found this emotional farewell the best time to do it.
Katsuhiro has yet to announce his next steps; however, wherever he ends up, he will be bringing multiple years of valuable service to his new work.
