Sony and HoYoverse have announced a new Genshin Impact Limited Edition DualSense Controller for PlayStation 5, launching in early 2026. Pre-orders open on 11 December 2025, with limited stock available worldwide.
The controller celebrates the game’s fifth anniversary with a white, gold, and green design, decorated with arcane glyphs and symbols of Aether, Lumine, and Paimon. It will retail at $84.99 / £74.99 / €84.99.
It will release in Asia, including Japan, on 21 January 2026, and on 25 February 2026 in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. The launch coincides with the end of PS4 support for Genshin Impact in January 2026 and the reveal comes alongside the December 3rd Luna III update, which introduces new characters, quests, weapons, events, and a new boss fight.

Highlights of the Luna III update include Durin, a new 5-star Pyro sword user and Jahoda, a 4-star Anemo bow user. Players can expect new weapons such as Athame Artis and The Daybreak Chronicles, fresh Archon and Story Quests, plus events like Soulblazers’ Snowbound Journey and Heroic Clash: Saurian Brawl. A new boss, Super-Heavy Landrover: Mechanized Fortress, also debuts, alongside the Hexerei system that unlocks special abilities for select characters.

HoYoverse said the design was inspired by the Traveler Twins and Paimon, aiming to celebrate years of adventure in Teyvat alongside the community.
“The controller features iconic design elements inspired by Genshin Impact’s beloved Traveler Twins and Paimon, celebrating years of adventure and companionship in Teyvat, alongside our cherished memories with the community. We hope that Travelers will enjoy the company of the controller and continue to expand their adventure in Genshin Impact.”
