Use our Possessor(s): How to Access THAT Ledge in the Sunken City Guide to access a particularly tricksty ledge in the Sunken City.
I had a great time with Possessor(s), which I speak of in my review, but I felt that there were things I wish I knew going in. So, with that in mind, here’s something things to bear in mind as you head into this great game.

Possessor(s): How to Access THAT Ledge in the Sunken City Guide
This guide is purely borne out of frustration and wanting to help my fellow Possessor(s) players. There’s a section in the Sunken City area of the game that seems impossible to reach. It almost feels like there should be a double jump in the game, but alas, there isn’t.
Despite having all the abilities at the end of the game, it didn’t feel possible to access this ledge and fill in a section of the map that seemingly alluded me. I know there’s something up there because there’s a red flower vine that you can activate to make the ledge accessible, but you gotta get there first!
You’ll find the infuriating ledge in the Sunken City area. It’s two rooms to the left of the tram station, it’s the room with the checkpoint in it. Check the map image below:
The ledge is to the upper left of the room. Above some small stairs.
I am going to caveat something to say that I can totally accept I might have missed something but whatever I tried, I couldn’t get up there. I tried all the abilities, I tried wall running, but you can’t reach a wall. I tried looking for hidden paths / doors, nothing.
So what do you need? Well, I got this using the Hockey Stick weapon, the air dodge, and a lot of faffing about. I saw a video about it from Yadilie on YouTube who seemed to make it look second nature, but hell I couldn’t do it as well as they did.
You can find the Hockey Stick in the Sunken City, it’s located in the same room you fight the ‘Nightmare’ boss.
So, your upward attack with hockey stick gives you upward trajectory before smashing into the floor. That’s where you want the air dodge to come in, by pressing it (circle on PS5), you’ll cancel the downward movement. Then you’ve got to keep doing it. Attack up, air dodge, attack up, air dodge. Square, circle, square, circle, etc.
Doing it this way will get you an increasing height. When high enough (as in going past the ledge because I couldn’t get Luca to grab it), stop pressing and drop to the left.
Be sure to take a good jump from the top of the stairs to the left of the room.

Make sure you don’t panic and jump off the ledge when you do eventually make it. And be sure to activate the vine thing so you can get back up without faffing about like that.
