Bandai Namco have revealed that the ‘Tales’ series will be seeing another remaster early in 2026. With Tales of Graces f Remastered, Tales of Xilia and others already re-released on modern consoles, Berseria is next to receive the remaster treatment.
The 2016 original has been locked to PlayStation 3 / 4 and PC since it’s launch but will now release in remastered form on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and Steam – where the original remains available. Tales of Berseria Remastered will release on 26 February 2025.
The remaster will run at 4K / 60fps on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. The Switch version will run at 1080p in TV mode / 720p in handheld mode, both at 30fps. For more on the specifications, read on.
Digital Deluxe Edition
A Digital Deluxe of the game will be available which includes a digital artbook and soundtrack, as well as other in-game items.

Physical Edition
A physical edition of the game will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, an Xbox Series X physical edition will not be available. The physical version is now available to pre-order via selected retailers. Pre-orders include bonus items which you can see below.

What the future holds for a new Tales game remains to be seen, the latest mainline release was 2021’s Tales of Arise. Though for now the series’ remastering project clearly remains Bandai Namco’s priority.
