It’s the old adage “Sony giveth, and Sony taketh away”. Yes, it’s that time of the month where we see what games are inevitably leaving the line-up of PS Plus Games. We had the earlier announcement of the games that were making their way to PS Plus members, which included:
- Stray
- EA Sports WRC 24
- Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
What’s Leaving in December 2025?
As of December 16th, 2025, the following titles will no longer be available to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium line-up:
- Battlefield 2042
- GTA III: Definitive Edition
- Arcade Paradise VR
- Sonic Frontiers
- Forspoken
- Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition
- Firefighting Simulator: The Squad
- Surviving Mars
- Star Trek: Bridge Crew
While you might have plenty of time to wrap up some of these titles before they go away, games like Forspoken might be a little out of reach, with an average play time of 14-16 hours (per HowLongToBeat). Grand Theft Auto III, despite its growing age (the far off year of 2001), is definitely solid choice if you are newer to the Grand Theft Auto franchise. It was actually one of the first GTA titles that ever made its way across my gaming journey. Vivid memories of playing with my next-door neighbor – seeing who could outrun the police the longest (let’s be honest – we’ve all done it).

Be sure to keep connected with Gamer Social Club during December, as we inevitably provide coming news on what will be coming to PS Plus in January 2026 – and what will be taking its final bow. Also, feel like discussing what games are leaving, or what’s to come with the new batch of PS Plus games? Or do you just want to chat all things gaming.
