Mundfish, the Russian game studio behind 2023’s alternative history-based action RPG Atomic Heart, took to social media to tease fans about the fourth and final planned DLC for the game, saying they should “stay tuned for more news” coming next month.
Published on Mundfish’s official Twitter/X account, the post stated that Atomic Heart’s fourth DLC will take players “on an adventure through completely new and mysterious locations”, followed by a flaming heart emoji.

Included in the post are two images, no doubt showing fans their first glimpses of these new locations. A cursory glance has us thinking we are likely to be heading to warmer climes somewhere on the African continent, quite possibly Egypt, given the palm trees, mounds of sand, and pyramid-like architecture.
Using all the investigative skills we can muster, and an approximate translation from Russian, the text seen in one of the images translates to “Crystal 6”. It’s not much to go on, but it’s enough to get fans theory-crafting in anticipation of more news and the DLC’s eventual release.

Given the timing of this tease and the advice to wait until December to hear more about Atomic Heart’s 4th DLC, we speculate that an announcement will be made at The Game Awards, happening on December 11th, exactly a month from Mundfish’s tease. With the developer having not one but two big announcements at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest earlier this year, announcing Atomic Heart 2 and a new MMO called The Cube, this prediction doesn’t feel too far-fetched.
We’ll keep our ears to the ground for any more Atomic Heart news, so be sure to check back here at the GSC regularly!
