Elden Ring Nightreign, the multiplayer spin-off of FromSoftware’s mega title, Elden Ring will be receiving it’s anticipated DLC within the next few months. FromSoftware’s parent company, Kadokawa have confirmed that the DLC will be launching Financial Year 2025 (FY2025), which ends March 2026.
The title which had an incredible sales launch, selling 3.5m copies in just 4 days is “performing well beyond initial expectations” according to Kadokawa in their earnings result report. Therefore the publisher are keen to leverage base sales of Nightreign with premium add on content before the end of their financial year.
In our review, we said Nightreign was an solid addition to the Elden Ring universe, which has since added a duos mode and a slew of quality of life tweaks.
Duskbloods release date
In the earnings report, Kadokawa also confirm that Switch 2 exclusive, PvPvE title The Duskbloods will is “planned for released 2026”. This is alongside the Switch 2 port of Elden Ring, with it’s Tarnished Edition that FromSoftware pushed to 2026 following reports of poor optimisation. With 10m Switch 2’s sold within the first few months of launch, there is a healthy player based for From to tap into.
