If physical game collecting is your thing, then you’d better get in line because Mega Cat Studios, in partnership with Retroware, have teamed up with Limited Run Games to bring you a physical release of Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit on the Nintendo Entertainment System
I have spent the past week screaming at the clouds (in a good way), playing through Retroware’s newest addition to the Angry Video Game Nerd franchise, and seeing this get an NES release seems pretty special.

Let’s get Physical, Physical!
Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit is getting the Limited Run Games treatment with a current-gen Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 physical release. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an Xbox release, but who is really surprised at this point?
But, more importantly, the AVGN 8-Bit NES edition is available in 4 different cartridge colors.
Standard Edition $69.99USD – classic NES Grey
Limited Edition $79.99USD – Legendary Gold (500 copies), Nerd Rage Red (1500 copies), and Super Mecha Baddie Blue (1500 copies)
Each edition comes with a fully printed booklet to really get those nostalgia juices flowing.
Pre-orders are available on the Limited Run Games website from the 4th of Nov to the 7th of Dec.
