However, users are still reporting issues and the Xbox Status Page, which is now up and running again, is still showing Major Outages.

A widespread Microsoft Azure issue has resulted in an Xbox Storefront and Game Pass outage, disrupting several major online titles and leaving many players unable to access key Xbox services.
As of this afternoon, players have reported being unable to access the Microsoft Storefront, the Game Pass tab, and their Full Game Library on Xbox. The Microsoft Store app on PC appears to remain functional, but the Xbox Store accessed through the PC app is affected.
Online titles currently reported as impacted include Halo, Sea of Thieves, and Forza. Even the Xbox Status Page is down and unable to post live updates.

Reports of the outage began circulating around 4 p.m. UTC.
According to the Microsoft Azure Status page, the issue stems from connectivity problems within Azure Front Door:
“Starting at approximately 16:00 UTC, customers and Microsoft services that leverage Azure Front Door (AFD) may have experienced issues resulting in latencies, timeouts and errors. We have confirmed that an inadvertent configuration change as the trigger event for this issue.”
While @XboxSupport on X (formerly Twitter) stated at 6:38 p.m. EST on October 28 that users “should once again be able to access Game Streaming and Xbox Storefronts,” many players report that access is still unavailable.
