The Outer Worlds 2 is a satirical sci-fi RPG from Obsidian, set in the Arcadia star system where corporate greed runs rampant. You play as an Earth Directorate agent caught in the middle of a faction war and mysterious space-time rifts.

The sequel to the hit game from 2019 releases on the 29th of October on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, launching day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Earlier this month TrueAchievement posted the achievement list for the game, which boasts a total 1,000 gamerscore for Xbox players and 49 trophies for PlayStation players.

The PS5 trophy list is the same as the Achievement list, with the addition of the Platinum.

There are a fair few secret Achievements here – mostly story-related, so if you want to avoid spoilers, skip those.

There are some returning achievements from the first game, like killing a single enemy that has been affected by all possible damage types, as well as some new, wacky additions to enjoy. We here at GSC love a game where we can get pets, and we love an achievement about pets even more, so the Hatchling Catcher achievement has us very excited!

The Outer Worlds 2 launches across PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and day one on Game Pass on October 29th, 2025.
