First Looks at Fallout 76: Burning Springs

As a Fallout fan, I love how popular the series has become in pop culture. Obviously, credit must be given to the Amazon series, but I do find myself always drawn to the games. That being said, Fallout 76 is seeing our favorite, long-living friend, The Ghoul, in the Burning Springs expansion.

As part of Fallout Day, which also saw the reveal of the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, Bethesda gave us a glimpse at what we can expect in this new expansion to the Fallout 76 universe. In the first few moments, we are treated to the wise (and raspy) words of The Ghoul. We’re also told that Burning Springs is located in Ohio, and will also be one of the largest map expansions to date for the game. What wonders (and presumably, horrors) await us in these lands. Let’s see!

So, there’s that! But it’s not just new maps and new enemies. It’s new in-game content, by way of: bounty hunting! Pick up a bounty, go on the hunt for your prey, and earn some fat sacks of Caps! Rest assured though – you may need to find yourself a gang to take care of your quarries, because I’m certain that they’re not going to be a walk in the irradiated park.

Burning Springs

Along with all of the aforementioned details, there are also two new public events slated for Burning Springs. Along with a new World Quest that will bring up up close and personal with…new friends?

I’m sure he’s also friendly

That’s right – he said Arena! Looks like Burning Springs explorers will have even more to do with this new storyline. But when can Fallout 76 fans expect this new expansion? The far of time of…December 2nd…of this year! So, just shy of two months, and we’ll be able to experience all of the new goodies that Bethesda has in store for us.
