If you’ve been enjoying your Game Pass subscription this month and thinking how can Xbox top the first half of the month, well we can confirm they are doing just that. After games like Keeper and Ninja Gaiden 4 came in wave 1, Xbox is saving potentially the best for last with wave 2.
Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 October Additions

- PowerWash Simulator 2 (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – October 23
- Bounty Star (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – October 23
- Super Fantasy Kingdom (Game Preview) (PC) – October 24
- Halls of Torment (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – October 28
- The Outer Worlds 2 (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – October 29
- 1000xResist (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – November 4
- Football Manager 26 Console (Cloud, Console, and PC) – November 4
Undoubtedly the star of the list is The Outer Worlds 2. Obsidian’s third game of the year and sequel to its 2019 hit, The Outer Worlds 2 has been getting a bigger push this go around from Xbox and for good reason. Everything we’ve seen so far from the game suggests it’s a big step up from the original.

While The Outer Worlds technically doesn’t drop into Game Pass until October 29th, players can purchase the premium upgrade to get their hands on the game on the 24th.
Another major title coming to Game Pass soon, PowerWash Simulator 2 is looking to build on the momentum the first game has built. PowerWash Simulator turned into one of the biggest surprise hits of the entire generation thanks to its relaxing, yet addictive game play loop of cleaning with power!
Bringing in co-op, a home base and more new features, fans are eagerly anticipating this title. You don’t see this kind of buzz around a simulator often. Players only have a couple more days to wait with the game releasing October 23rd.
Another day 1 title joining Game Pass on October 23rd is Bounty Star from developer DINOGOD. A third person action game where players take control of a mech, Bounty Star is a blend between mech combat and farming with base building. What we’ve seen of Bounty Star is promising, and while it may get overshadowed by the other 2 titles mentioned, it is worth a look if you have the time.

Overall October has been a fantastic month for Xbox Game Pass. They had to come out swinging after their most recent price increases and they did. With November just around the corner that means the next Call Of Duty is coming as they look to boost subscriptions even more. We will see how the rest of November looks in a couple weeks!
For now, enjoy the wide range of October games Xbox fans.
