PowerWash Simulator 2 is almost here, with the game releasing tomorrow. With reviews now starting to come out, including our own (spoiler, its incredible) the hype is at a fever pitch. Today developer FuturLab has given a sneak peak at the games roadmap post release for 2026, including both paid and free DLC, fixes and much more.

In terms of free content, FuturLab says players can expect new features, bug fixes, community events and new Furniture and skins for your base and character. Additionally 3 new, free jobs will become available. Currently shown as “Caldera Chronicles” in their image, we don’t really know what those jobs will be.
If you google Caldera Chronicles the only thing that comes up is a weekly article written about the Yellowstone Volcano. Could they be implying we will be washing things around the Volcano?, or is this just a big coincidence? We will find out in 2026!
Additionally, FuturLab has already announced 3 paid “IP DLC” packs coming in 2026. Again that is pretty vague at the moment, but we know with the first PowerWash Simulator game we saw many exciting and unique collaborations between popular franchises and the game. We saw 7 in total and they were as far out there as you can imagine. Those collaborations includes:
- Tomb Raider
- Shrek
- Warhammer 40k
- Alice In Wonderland
- Final Fantasy
- SpongeBob SquarePants
- Back To The Future

As you can see some of these made some sense, while others were completely out of left field, and yet FuturLab nailed them all. Where they go from here with these collaborations might be just as interesting as the game itself. With how popular the first game was, and how well received the collaborations were, I’m sure many companies are lining up to get in on the action and have their iconic franchises cleaned up a bit!
Interestingly, at the bottom of the roadmap there is a disclaimer stating that the “content could change based on community feedback or development in the future.” I’m sure that is just them covering their bases incase something hits a snag with the collaborations, but it is always good to hear a developer is willing to listen to their community.
PowerWash Simulator 2 releases tomorrow, October 23rd on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series consoles. It is launching day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. What collaboration would you like to see with PowerWash Simulator 2? Let us know in the comments below.
