Keeper: Unlock the Call of the Mountain Achievement Guide

Use our Keeper: Unlock the Call of the Mountain Achievement Guide to nab another missable achievement.

Keeper is here. The latest game from Double Fine, the creators of wonderful games such as Psychonauts and Brutal Legend, launched on 17 October. You take control of a sentient lighthouse and must make your way through a surreal world with your little bird companion.

Double Fine is renowned for the weird and wonderful, and Keeper seems to be no exception.

Keeper: Unlock the Call of the Mountain Achievement Guide

To unlock the “Call of the Mountain” achievement, you’ll need to find another statue in the game. It is in the Pollen Falls chapter, for the purposes of chapter select.

This statue can be found in the area where you get covered in pink candy floss stuff and it makes your lighthouse dude able to jump and glide (with the help of Twig). You’ll know you’re in the right area because there’ll be a short cutscene when you enter, highlighting the waterfall to the right.

Once you get control again, head to the right and jump to the platform with yellow flowers on it. Use your focused lamp on the pile of flowers to grow them.

This prompts a creature to emerge and eat the flowers. It’ll then activate a pink air jet stream which you can use to ascend.

Once up there, you’ll need to open the door that’s behind the waterfall. To do that, you’ll need to re-connect the broken pipe that’s on the left side using the lever. You can’t straight away as the panel is split in two. Jump across the gap and get Twig to rotate the cog. This will reconnect the panel on the left side.

Jump back over and get Twig to pull the lever down and then to the right and then down again to reach the bottom. This should connect the broken pipe that is next to the panel, shutting off the flow of water. Once the door is open, head inside and use your focused lamp on the flower to build the statue. Approach it to unlock the achievement.

There are 13 achievements to nab for the 1000G in Keeper, and they’re all missable bar one, but they uncover lore of the game through the achievement descriptions. So they’re worth finding. Check out the rest of our guides below. There is a chapter select so you can go back if you miss anything.
