It’s been a big year for the resurgent Ninja Gaiden series. At the start of the year at the Xbox Developer Direct, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and Ninja Gaiden 4 were both unexpectedly revealed, with 2 Black shadow dropping on the same day (read our review).
Over the summer, the excellent Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, a 2D retro revival of the franchise also launched which we loved in our review.
Now, with under a week to go until Ninja Gaiden 4 releases on Xbox Series X/S – including in to Game Pass Day One, PlayStation 5 and PC, Team Ninja and Xbox Game Studios have revealed the global release timings.
With the release launching the same time globally, it’ll be a lunchtime start if you’re in New Zealand, or just as you’re finishing work a day earlier on the West Coast of North America.

Ninja Gaiden 4 will release at the following times:
- North America West Coast PDT: Mon 20 October 5pm
- Mexico CST: Mon 20 October 6pm
- North America East Coast EDT: Mon 20 October 8pm
- Brazil Sao Paulo BRT: Mon 20 October 9pm
- UK BST: Tues 21 October 1am BST
- Central Europe: Tues 21 October 2am CEST
- Korea: Tues 21 October 9am KST
- Japan: Tues 21 October 9am JST
- Australia, Sydney: Tues 21 October 11am AEDT
- Auckland New Zealand: Tues 21 October 1pm NZDT
