Yooka-Replaylee is bursting at the seams with collectibles scattered about its numerous worlds, like any good 3D platformer collectathon should have. While the game does a great job of tracking what you have found, it’s not always easy to track them down in the first place. From Pagies to Play Coins, we are here to help you find them all! Glitterglaze Glacier Pagies Guide
There are a plethora of ways to earn and find Pagies throughout Yooka-Replaylee, and we will cover how to get all 50 Pagies in the Glitterglaze Glacier level here, including Pagie Pieces.
Pagie 1/50
Leave the cave you start in and follow the path around to the right to find the first Mark fast travel point on a pillar of ice over a short wooden bridge. Look behind and go up the slope to the back, where there is a gout of flame we need to get past.
Smash the crate to reveal a fire pit we can get the Heat state from, which lets our duo pass through the fire unharmed. On the other side is a Ghost Writer to grab, netting the first Pagie.
Pagie 2/50
Go through the low tunnel entrance next to the fire puzzle and find yourself in a large ice cavern. Yooka and Laylee will talk about being cold, so approach the brazier in front of you and grab the Heat state.
You need to find the other fire pits in this cavern and light them, melting the ice blocking the other entrance to this cavern and freeing the Pagie.
Pagie 3/50
Right next to the door you just unblocked is a Ghost Writer. Dodge their attack so they go green and get stunned, then give them a few smacks to capture them and receive another Pagie.
Pagie 4/50
Go through the exit you just unblocked to find yourself on a raised part of the Glitterglaze Glacier level. Be sure to grab the Mark fast travel point.
On the other side of the stream is a Snowman who needs help finding his Pants. Head over to the igloos and Buddy Slam their roofs to destroy them. In one of them are their Pants, just return them to their owner to get another Pagie.
Pagie 5/50
In the middle of the Igloos is Potty Mouth. Chat to them and they’ll explain that Clara is in one of the igloos. Just Buddy Slam the igloos until you find the one with the bony explorer inside. A Pagie is your reward for uniting the quirky pair.
Pagie 6/50
Hop into the little stream and swim to the end closest to the cave entrance, and you’ll find a small underwater tunnel to swim into. Inside, you’ll find another Ghost Writer to grab, earning you another Pagie.
Pagie 7/50
Go to the edge of the cliff and drop down into the main area of Glitterglaze Glacier (don’t worry, there is no fall damage).
Look for a raised area with a button for you to stand on. This activates a timed puzzle where you have to platform up to grab the Pagie while dealing with Mr. Blowy enemies trying to send you off course.
Pagies 8, 9, 10/50
Look to the Northern end of this area to find Kartos the minecart with another of his on-rails challenges. Collect all the gems along the track to be rewarded with all three Pagies.
Pagie 11/50
Turn around to look to the South and see a Snowman on a piece of ice in the water. They want you to get their Top Hat, which can be found on another ice island guarded by some of Capital B’s minions.
Return the headwear to its owner to earn a Pagie.
Pagie 12/50
Behind the Snowman you just assisted is some ruins in the water. Dive down to them to find one of the Ghost Writers. Hit them with Laylee’s Sonar Shot to stun them out of going invisible to grab them and get another Pagie.
Pagie Piece 1/8
There is another ice float that has a fence and some crates and barrels near the Snowman you helped earlier. Jump onto it to be ambushed by three large spike ball minions.
Use Laylee’s Sonar Shot to stun and knock them. Push all three into the water and be awarded a Pagie Piece.
Pagie 13/50
To the Northeast of the previous ice float is another one with a red Q.U.I.D.D.S challenge ring floating above it.
Start the challenge and jump/glide to grab all 8 red Q.U.I.D.D.S coins before they disappear to earn a Pagie.
Pagie 14/50
Make your way to the East end of the level, keeping close to the rock wall on your left. Follow it around to find a cave with a Pagie challenge inside.
Run up the wooden ramp and platform across to the other end, using Laylee’s Sonar Shot on the invisible platforms. Make it to the end and get a Pagie.
Pagie Piece 2/8
Head back to the cave entrance and cross the water to the other side. Look to your right to see a Snowman standing by a tree that is glittering. Hit the tree, and a Pagie Piece will fall out.
Pagie 15/50
The Snowman next to the tree is after their Cowboy Hat, which can be found on a platform with a tree on it partway along the large ice ramp. You can go up and grab it now or do it later when we head that way later in the guide.
Whenever it is you choose to grab the hat and return it, you will earn another Pagie.
Pagie Piece 3/8
Past the Snowman is an arena with stacks of boxes inside. Jump in to start a combat challenge where you will need to defeat a bunch of Capital B’s minions.
Beating them all up will get you another Pagie Piece for your efforts.
Pagie 16/50
Near the arena, by the water, is another Snowman who has lost its Witch’s Hat, which is in the water.
Jump across the ice and keep an eye out for a shape in the water near the base of one of the ice towers. This is the Witch’s Hat we are looking for.
Return it to receive a Pagie.
Pagie 17/50
Jump into the water and look for a large square cave entrance underwater to swim into.
You will be in a very dark cave, but you can use the glowing pots to light up an area around you, making it easier to traverse. Make your way through a few caves, looking for buttons to open gates and keeping yourself lit up along the way. There is a Pagie in the last chamber.
Pagie Piece 4/8, Pagie 18/50
Walk up the slope from the Snowman with the Witch’s Hat to find a large snowball on a flat patch of ice near a cave entrance and a Mark fast travel point. Knock the snowball out of the way to reveal a shiny treasure point on the floor.
Buddy Slam it to find a fourth Pagie Piece, making a full Pagie!
Pagie 19/50
Head to the very edge of the level, and you should see a crate near a large molten block. Smash the crate to reveal a Bomb Plant you can use to blow up the molten block.
Doing this starts a mini challenge where you need to spit bombs at a molten block floating off the edge of the level. Each time you hit it, the block gets smaller. Hit it three times to earn a Pagie.
Pagie 20/50
There are some more molten blocks on the other side of the Bomb Plant you can blow up, and one of them is hiding this level’s Mollycool.
Just a bit further to the right of where you found the Mollycool is Dr. Puzz and her D.N.Ray. Give her the Mollycool so you can use her device to transform into a plow truck.
On the raised area next to Dr. Puzz is a Snowman who has lost its Pirate Hat. Jump up to their level and boost through the mound of snow next to them to reveal their hat. Hand it over to get a Pagie.
Pagie 21/50
While you are still the truck, drive up the big ice ramp and boost through the pile of snow on the wooden bridge.
Drive to the left and boost through the other snow pile between the rock walls, and the camera will shift to a top-down perspective, and a red Q.U.I.D.D.S challenge will appear. Drive into the hoop to start the challenge, which is collecting all 8 red Q.U.I.D.D.S coins in the time limit. Do this three times and you’ll be awarded a Pagie.
Pagie Piece 5/8
Tucked up in the corner where you did the red Q.U.I.D.D.S challenge is a pile of snow. Boost into it to uncover a Pagie Piece.
Pagie 22/50
Head back down the ice slope and turn back into Yooka and Laylee. Grab the Bomb Plant state and destroy the molten block on a raised area to uncover a button. Standing on the button creates a tongue hookshot point to get you up to the platforms and ramps above the ground.
Reach the platform with the large block of snow and the Planker sign. You need to “sculpt” a statue of Capital B.
Go back to the platform with the block of ice and go up the other ice ramp to find a Fire Plant. Grab the fire state and melt the ice block on the adjacent platform to reveal a Bomb Plant. Grab the bomb state and head back to the large snow block and start spitting bombs at it to reveal the statue.
Once the job is done, you’ll get a Pagie for your work.
Pagie 23/50
Head up the wooden ramp next to the snow statue and go around the back of the tower. Spit a bomb at the molten rocks to free another Pagie.
Pagie 24/50
Head back to the platform with the Fire Plant and grab the fire state from it. On the other side of the platform is an ice cube you can melt to reveal a Ghost Writer. Go down the ramp to grab the bomb state from the Bomb Plant, and then fire a bomb into the waiting ghost’s mouth. Feeding the Ghost Writer will earn you a Pagie.
If you have been following this guide, that is the fifth and final Ghost Writer for Glitterglaze Glacier! That means that a trio of Pagies will now be waiting for you on the Ghost Writer plinth found in the Crystalline Cave. You can grab them now, or wait till we go there later in the guide.
Pagie 25/50
Grab the vapor from the chest next to where you freed the last Ghost Writer and fly up. Near to the tower is a Mr. Blowy with a chest underneath it. Hit the button in front of it to turn off the vent or land behind the chest so you can smash it. A Pagie is waiting for you.
Pagie Piece 6/8
Back to the large icy ramp. Follow it around until you see a ledge to jump to with a button on it. This will create tongue hookshot points for you to use, which take you over to a narrow walkway with a chest at the end of it.
Smash the chest to get another Pagie Piece.
Pagie 26/50
Head to the top of the ramp where the entrance to the Icymetric Palace awaits, with a Mark fast travel poitn to activate. Next to it is a chest of vapor that you need to use to fly up to a ledge with a Pagie in a Cagie.
You need to use the vapor on the ledge to fly through a course of rings to free the Pagie from its prison. It is a longer track, but there are rings with butterflies that top up your stamina to keep you airborne, so be sure to grab a few as you fly.
Pagie Piece 7/8
Use the vapor chest in front of the Icymetric Palace again, and this time circle the tower to spot this Pagie Piece on a ledge further down.
Pagie Piece 8/8, Pagie 27/50
Warp back to the entrance of the Icymetric Palace and enter it. There are invisible platforms around the room that you can make usable with Laylee’s Sonar Shot to make usable. Ride the platforms up to a balcony where the last Pagie Piece is waiting, becoming another Pagie.
Pagie 28/50
Continue through the Icymetric Palace until you reach a large room with an isometric perspective. Jump on the button in the bottom left-hand corner and complete the time trial through the hoops to free a Pagie from its Cagie.
Pagies 29, 30, 31/50
You’ll eventually reach Burnie the furnace, who needs your help to warm up. Jump inside him and face off against the boss of Glitterglaze Glacier, Breeezze Blok.
Dodge/run from their projectiles until they drop a Fire Plant for you to use. Grab the fire state and breathe flames at the boss to hurt and shrink them. Defeating Breeezze Blok gets you three Pagies!
Pagie 32/50
Now that you have beaten the boss, there are now more areas to explore in the Icymetric Palace. Ride the steam vent in the boss room and go through the door.
Buddy Slam the three buttons on the rotating pipes to free the Pagie in a Cagie.
Pagie 33/50
There is a giant jellyfish minion in this room that has a Pagie inside it. Let yourself be absorbed by them and then bust out of it to free the Pagie.
Pagie 34/50
Swim through the other door and drop the metal bars in the next room by hitting the ship’s steering wheel a few times. Go through the door behind the bars, and you’ll be in a hallway stretching to the right. You need to use your spring jump and glide to avoid moving spike walls as you work your way down the hall. At the end is a Pagie for your efforts.
Pagie 35, 36, 37/50
Head back to the beginning of the hallway and go through the door going away from the screen. Go through the door next to the narrow corridor, and you will find Rextro and his arcade machine! Go through the door at the back of the room and find the real Play Coin.
Interact with Rextro’s arcade machine to play his minigame. Finishing the level with all three medals will earn you three Pagies!
Pagie 38/50
Return to the room that had metal bars across it and ride the steam vent up to another doorway. Smash the large crate to find a Bomb Plant you can use to demolish the molten blocks, uncovering another door in the top furthest corner.
In here is Tubbz with a Pagie in a Cagie. Jump in the water and use your bubble ability, but stop before it makes a bubble around the duo. Keep doing this to make bubbles in the water, and eventually Tubbz will be back to his bubbly self. The Pagie in a Cagie is now yours.
Pagie 39/50
Warp back to the Mark fast travel point in front of the entrance to the Icymetric Palace, go inside, and through the doorway opposite. Use the invisible platforms to reach the doorway near the screen on the right.
Jump on the button on the left side of the room to start a shooting challenge. Use the nearby Ice Plant to shoot ice at the cutouts that appear. When they are all destroyed, the Pagie in the Cagie will be free to collect.
Pagie 40/50
Go through the doorway across the newly lowered drawbridge, and you will have reached the Amazing Icymetric Quiz!
Approach the Pagie on the Stagie (sorry) and take part in this… strange quiz show. Answer all three questions correctly to win a Pagie, and also unlock the Taking the Quiz achievement/trophy!
Pagie 41/50
Head back to the room with the invisible platforms and leave through the other door. Go down the hall with Googly Eye enemies in it and leave through the door going away from the screen.
You’ll be in a large room with three ice blocks and a steam vent at the other end. You need to Buddy Slam the panels on the ground so you can push the middle ice block up to the vent to melt it. freeing a Pagie.
Pagie 42/50
Head through the other doorway in the ice block room to reach a sidescrolling obstacle course with a Pagie in a Cagie at the end.
Pagie 43/50
Go through the door to the right of the Pagie you just picked up to find a room with some steam vents and a red Q.U.I.D.D.S challenge ring. Begin the challenge and collect all 8 red Q.U.I.D.D.S coins in the time limit to earn another Pagie.
Pagie 44/50
Go to the right to reach a room with three doorways and a purple light at the centre. You need to go through the correct doorway several times in a row to solve this puzzle.
The order is: Right, Right, Middle, Left.
Go through the door at the end of the corridor, and Laylee will say they smell treasure. Start smashing everything in this room in the time limit to try and find the Pagie. If you are unsuccessful, leave the room and re-enter to reset the challenge.
Pagie 45/50
Warp to the Mark fast travel point near the beginning of Glitterglaze Glacier. Cross over the wooden bridge, go left over the walkway, and go into the cave.
You’ll be in the Crystalline Cave, where there are two sets of crystals and a Pagie in a Cagie. You need to copy the order the small crystals change colour with the big crystals, using Laylee’s Sonar Shot. Once solved, the Pagie is yours.
Pagies 46, 47, 48/50
The Ghost Writer plinth is in the Crystalline Cave, just down the narrow path from the coloured crystals. If you have been following this guide, you should have all five Ghost Writers and three Pagies waiting for you here.
Pagie 49/50
Go past the Ghost Writer plinth and along the left-hand path out of the Crystalline Cave. Across a walkway is a Pagie in a Cagie with a button in front of it. Hit the button and complete the gliding hoop challenge to free the Pagie.
Pagie 50/50
