Eye Sore Achievement Guide

The Eye Sore achievement/trophy can be unlocked as soon as you open the first Pagie Door. You need to defeat 10 Googly Eye enemies, and while that may describe a lot of the enemies in Yooka-Replaylee, it is actually referring to one type of enemy in particular.

Googly Eye enemies are a pair of big, googly eyes that bounce around and take over nearby inanimate objects to attack you. Hitting them when they are attached to an object will knock them off it and destroy the object, forcing the Googly Eye to flee in hopes of finding a new vessel. Hitting them once while on their own will kill them and is what we need to do to unlock the Eye Sore achievement/trophy.

You will find your first Googly Eye enemies after opening the first Pagie Door. They will be near a Mark fast travel point, with some letters nearby that they will attempt to possess. Once you have defeated the pair of them, you will have to leave the area for them to respawn. However, we think there is a good farming spot to be found in the Icymetric Palace in the second tome, Glitterglaze Glacier.

There is a room with two Googly Eye enemies bouncing around in the Icymetirc Palace, and due to the size of the rooms, it doesn’t take long to leave and come back and fight a fresh pair.

Once you have killed 10 Googly Eye minions, you will unlock the Eye Sore achievement/trophy!
