Shape of Dreams, the co-op action roguelite game developed by Lizard Smoothie and published by NEOWIZ, has reached 500,000 copies downloaded around the world, and is celebrating this achievement with its fans. Originally in Early Access before its full release on September 11th, the game has reached this milestone while only being available on PC via Steam.
The developers at Lizard Smoothie posted a message to the game’s Discord and Steam Page with the news, thanking the fans for their “support, passion, and feedback”.
The post reads:
“From the very beginning, our goal has been to create a world full of mystery, emotion, and challenge — and seeing so many of you join us on this journey means everything to our team.
Every message, every suggestion, and every adventure you share helps us shape this dream together.”
To mark this special occasion, the devs have created a coupon that players can redeem in Shape of Dreams. The coupon, 500KDREAMS, gives players the Virtue Ornament, which can be equipped to their favorite Travellers. The coupon is available until 15:00(UTC) on October 10th, 2025.
Shape of Dreams is a fast-paced action-roguelite where you battle through ever-changing dreamlike realms, made for solo and co-op play for up to 3 friends, and promises near-endless fun and variety with multiple difficulty modes and over 150 memories and essences to combine and make your build.
The game has enjoyed a healthy player base since launch, and is currently sitting at Very Positive with nearly 2,500 user reviews on Steam. Even a couple of us here at the GSC have enjoyed a run or twelve!
The developers signed off on their celebratory post, saying they have “more exciting updates and surprises planned for the future.”
