Tiny Lands is a relaxing game about finding differences in handcrafted dioramas. No time pressure, no punishment, just beautiful environments, relaxing music, and tiny differences! Even though you’re meant to do this peacefully, without any real reason to complete a checklist of things to do, finding each difference rewards you a star, totalling to 5 stars for each diorama completed. These stars are then used as currency to “purchase” more stages. If you choose to play the game casually and recreationally, you’ll easily obtain the stars necessary to try out new biomes without finding all 5 differences in each stage.
Each Biome gives you 10 diorama stages with 5 differences in each one. This will allow you to obtain a total of 50 stars in each biome. The first biome, Nature, is free, therefore giving you access to 50 “free” stars should you choose to fully complete it. Subsequent biomes will cost stars, 25 stars for first one you purchase, and will increase in cost (40 for the 2nd one, etc) the more you do.
This guide will show exactly where the locations of the difference in the diorama with minor explanation, allowing you full 5 stars on each stage. Since this is a 3D game, allowing you to pan, zoom, and rotate, you’ll need to use all these features to look for the subtle differences. Each diorama has 5 differences between them, ranging from super easy to spot, to just a slight change in an item’s size.
