In a very busy 24 hours of announcements for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 at Tokyo Game Show, first the game was confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 5 this Fall.
The game we applauded at launch despite technical challenges at the time, has continued to add new world destinations for aspiring pilots to navigate.
Now, fittingly with the reveal at the Tokyo Game Show, developer Asobo confirmed that the huge Japan update will be coming to the game today.
Featuring fully-realised cities including Tokyo, Kyoto, Sapporo and more, there is a whole new flight path for players over the Land of the Rising Sun.
In some truly stunning trailer footage which you can see above, we see pilots take flight around Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Osaka Castle.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is currently available in Game Pass for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and arrives on PlayStation soon.
