During last nights Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio Direct, the SEGA studio confirmed that Yakuza 0 Director's Cut will be ported to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. This comes following its launch on Nintendo Switch 2, on the new Nintendo hardware's launch date.
The Steam and PlayStation Store pages are currently listing a 8 December 2025. There is no date given on the Xbox Store page but its likely that the date will be the same.
Yakuza 0 Director's Cut is the definitive edition of the Yakuza series prequel. It comes with new content including never seen before cut scenes.

An online multiplayer mode, The Red Light Raid will also be coming to Yakuza 0 Director's Cut on the new platforms, but will be added at a later date. The mode "lets you join forces with friends and choose from 60 playable characters to take down hordes of enemies."
For owners of the original Yakuza 0 there is no upgrade path, so this should be treated as a new release. Though, this isn't surprising as the Switch 2 version released as a full price release, and Yakuza 0 is frequently heavily discounted across PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
Yakuza 0 Director's Cut will feature PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements according to the Store listing.
If you've played Yakuza 0 on your account, you'll know it's an incredibly big game to 100%. Sadly, there will be no cross-save feature.
