During today's Sony State of Play, we got our first look at Battlefield 6's campaign, which will launch with the main game on 10 October 2025. This is the first Battlefield campaign in many years, following the omission of a campaign in the much-maligned Battlefield 2042.
The campaign will take us on a journey across multiple countries and battle zones, including New York, Gibraltar (UK,) and more. Battlefield has a history of thrilling trailers, and the latest campaign trailer is no exception.

As Dagger 13, an elite squad of Marine Raiders, we will take on the mercenary group Pax Armata, which is invading Western nations.
The campaign will feature the destructive warfare synonymous with the series. In the trailer, buildings crumble through the renowned "˜levolution' which shifts the play space and gives unique opportunities to blow enemies straight out of their hidey-holes.
A full modern warfare arsenal will be at our disposal in the campaign. Advanced infantry guns and tools, as well as vehicular warfare and drones, there's a vast array of modern conflict gadgetry to use against the enemy.
Alongside a now promising-looking campaign, Bad Company 2 inspired Battlefield 6 will bring back the series’ much-loved multiplayer and had an incredibly successful beta earlier this summer. Be sure to check out our impressions from the beta here.
Shortly after launch on 10 October 2025, a battle-royale mode is expected to launch and is currently in playtesting.
