It’s a busy week for gaming news with many studios showing off lineups in advance of the Tokyo Games Show. One such studio was Top Hat Studios showing off 18 titles, both currently out and upcoming releases. Perhaps you’ll recognize a few titles that get updates from their showcase earlier this year? Twinkles Galactic Tour
Enjoy this musical platformer where you jump across planets on this artists journey to be a star. Prove your parents wrong and let them know that you don’t need college because you’re going to be famous in this 90’s style adventure.
MOTORSLICE
If brutalism is your artistic style, then MOTORSLICE may be for you. Top Hat Studios is giving us an update on MOTORSLICE. Parkour your way through this post-apocalyptic work as P and survive an environment that is looking for every way to kill you. The combat is fast paced and accompanied by puzzles that require physics know how and a slice of life story about a girl just trying to do her job.

Islets
Metroidvania fans can enjoy Islets now on PS4 and PS5. Travel across hand-painted scenery to reunite fractured islands while fighting off those who stand in your way. Befriend a cast of characters and find all the world’s secrets as you face the challenges that await you in Islets.
ZWAARD
Craft the perfect sword by scavenging parts in this open world action-adventure from Beleef Studios. With your sword in hand, defeat the dangerous species infected by the mysterious technology in the world. This game is scheduled to release later this year.
The Backworld
Enjoy slightly unsettling horror in this 2026 release from Numor Games. Slip through the cracks in reality and be strategic in how you choose to survive when the odds are stacked against you. When cosmic war reaches your hometown, can you and your friends save the day?
BeCrowned
Inspired by games such as Silent Hill, danger lurks at every turn in this upcoming release. Play as Richard Torrance, a man who is rational, cold-blooded, and wants to shape the world as he sees fit. Explore his past to see how happiness has evaded him and made him a prisoner to his own ambitions in BECROWNED. This game has multiple endings ranging from happy to nightmare so this one looks to offer quite a bit of replay ability.
Silly Polly Beast
Go from one hell to another. Polly escapes the orphanage to find herself in the underworld and now it’s time to make her way out. Uncover forbidden knowledge to make Polly even deadlier to those who would wrong her. Can you escape or will the demon claim you in this survival horror? Top Hat Studios has announced this will be out October 2025.

Relive the PS2 era of gaming in Rogue Mansion which blends survival horror and roguelikes. The mansion is different each time you play and you’ll also get to choose from unique characters to make your way through this mansion.

Tales of Tuscany
Play as Lambypoo as you may your way through Tuscany in this choose your own adventure using bullethell battle mechanics along the way. Your home has been destroyed by the evil Thunder Goober and it’s time for you to save the day. Oh and if you’d like, be sure to shout Baaa to destroy all sorts of things on your own. Tales of Tuscany is due out in 2026.
Wishfarers
What do you get when you combine turn based tactical combat with platformer movement and terrain that is easily destroyed? You get Wishfarers! A group of adventures chasing the stars and looking to get their wishes big and small granted. The game promises 7 classes, over 100 abilities, and many spells for players to customize their character. Players interested can wishlist on Steam today!
Elementallis
The elements have gone rogue (thanks to you) and the world is in danger. Restore peace across the elements in this top down adventure. Explore 8 unique temples and biomes as you fix your mistakes and heal not just a broken world, but a broken sense of self.
Elementallis is due out Q1 2026.
Windswept
Help Marbles and Checkers find their way home after a storm takes them far from the safe spaces. Another nod to the 90s, this buddy-platformer brings over 40 stages to explore. You can always go home but that doesn’t mean it will be easy! Mix and match the skills of Marbles and Charles to find your best way home when Windswept releases later this year.
Labyrinth of the Demon King
Labyrinth launched on May 13th and now bring an update to close out the show. New Game Plus for Labyrinth arrives on October 27th. Are you ready to revisit these puzzles and take down the monsters who betrayed your lord? The demo is also available now for you to try your hand at.
