Team Reptile has officially lifted the lid on Hyperfunk, the next high-octane entry in their graffiti-fuelled universe. Building on the cult success of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, this new title promises even more kinetic energy, vibrant cityscapes, and rebellious flair.
While details are still under wraps, the announcement trailer teased a fresh cast of characters, slick new traversal mechanics, and a soundtrack that slaps just as hard as its predecessor. Expect more rail-grinding, wall-tagging chaos; this time with a sharper edge and a deeper dive into the lore of New Amsterdam. As per the Steam page, Team Reptile describes Hyperfunk as “extreme trick and graffiti game from a bright future. Society is shaped by the effects of the Hyper, the online space, as various graffiti crews compete in reality with style and ideology of how to interpret this new world.”
Fans of the original will feel right at home, but Hyperfunk looks set to push the envelope with expanded multiplayer modes and a more dynamic open world. Team Reptile’s signature cel-shaded style returns, now dialled up with richer colours and smoother animations that scream style over subtlety.
